Creole Sweet and Spicy Cashews - NEW

INGREDIENTS ~

  • 3 cups raw cashews
  • Two organic egg whites
  • ½ cup organic turbinado sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Creole super seasoning

 


STEPS ~

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Place egg whites into medium bowl.
  3. Whisk egg whites by hand until they’re very frothy, but not quite to soft peaks stage.
  4. Add the sugar, cashews, and Creole super seasoning.  Toss well to coat.
  5. Place on sheet pan lined with parchment paper and spread into single layer. 
  6. Place on sheet pan lined with parchment paper and spread into single layer.
  7. Bake at 350° for approximately 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown, checking mixture every 10 minutes.
  8. Cool mixture completely on the sheet pan over a wire rack.
  9. Break nut clusters into chunks.  Enjoy!
