 Our Celtic Sea Salt® is unrefined and sustainably harvested. Our salts are harvested from ancient protected French salt beds, in a clean safe environment. To be certified by Nature & Progrés our sea salt ponds must be located a minimum of 500 meters away from main roads and are free from pesticides, air pollution and all chemicals or contaiments. The salt harvesters use only natural wood rakes to harvest the salt by hand. The salt must be protected at all times and with certified equipment. Certification for organically harvested and processed salt from France is from Nature & Progrés. Nature & Progrés is the oldest organizations of organic farming in France and Europe. Our Celtic Sea Salt® is certified organic by Nature and Progres, the highest level of certification allowed in France. Our Black pepper is also certified organic by DPI, Clemson University. Our organic salt and peppers set taste great and are better for you and the planet!
