Celtic Sea Salt® Brand is unrefined and sustainably harvested. Our salts are harvested from ancient protected French salt ponds, in a clean safe environment. Celtic Sea Salt® Brand is certified at the source by Europe's Nature et Progres to be free from pesticides, herbicides and harmful chemicals. Salt harvesters may use only natural wood rakes to harvest the salt by hand. The salt must be protected at all times and transported only with certified equipment. While minerals, and therefore sea salt may not be certified organic in the United States, our certified organic handlers ensure the highest level of quality control. All of our sea salt is also Certified Kosher, just one more step we've taken to provide our customers with unparalleled quality and taste.
