Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid promotes gum health. The gums are composed of dense fibrous connective tissue which secure the teeth to the aveloar bone. This connective tissue is composed of a fibrous tissue surrounded by hyaluronic acid. If the HA is present, it helps to provide the tensile strength of the ligaments that secure the tooth in place by providing hydration and nourishment.
Xylitol
Xylitol is a sugar alcohol sweetener that is commonly used a naturally occurring sugar substitute. Some of the most popular sources of xylitol come from berries, corn husks, oats, and mushrooms. Studies have shown xylitol to support healthy plaque levels on teeth and gums, thus making it a common ingredient for natural dental health care products.
