Unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics (which treat only about six different strains of bacteria each), it doesn't destroy beneficial bacteria when used as recommended. It also doesn't harm enzymes, acidify your body, or damage your liver--factors which make you more susceptible to infections.
We have a unique "slow brew" process, using a state-of-the-art generator, to slowly and carefully produce consistently small particles of 99.9% pure silver (100% silver is unobtainable) in a base of pure distilled mountain water.
The liquid is totally clear, indicating that the silver particles are extremely small. Colloidal silver that is yellow or even darker indicates an increase in particle size and a proportionate decrease in effectiveness and safety. Larger particles have reduced germ fighting capabilities and may cause argyria, a condition where the particles of silver accumulate in the skin.
This is not harmful, however, it can result in a greyish discoloration of the skin if used a lot. Mountain Well-Being's colloidal silver cannot cause argyria, and is safe for daily use.
